Christian Match User Agreement

Christian Match provides an online personal classifieds service for unmarried adults. You must be at least eighteen years old to register as a member of Christian Match or to use the website. By using the site in any way, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Please read the following terms and conditions before using the Christian Match website (“the site”). By using the site in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You also agree not to use the site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions.

If you are not willing to accept these terms of use, please do not register as a member of Christian Match.

For the purposes of this agreement the expressions “Christian Match”, “We”, “Our” and “Us” refer to Media Incorporated (ABN 44 580 093 089) (“Media Inc.”), the owner and operator of the Christian Match. The expression “User” refers to all users of the site including registered members and casual users of the site.

The terms “Christian Match website”, “the site” and “the service” refer collectively to information and other material delivered on www.christianmatch.com.au.
We may modify these terms and conditions at any time as required. Any such modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting of the modified terms and conditions on the site. Christian Match also reserves the right to terminate your membership for any reason.

We also refer users of the site to our Privacy Policy.

Unless otherwise indicated, copyright in the material on this site is owned by Media Inc. In accessing or using the site, you agree not to infringe any intellectual property rights of Media Inc. or any of its suppliers.

Your Christian match profile

You are solely responsible for all the information contained in your profile and for all your communications with other members. By registering as a member, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

You agree not to include any information in your member profile that might specifically identify you or any other person. You may not include in your profile any names, telephone numbers, street addresses, email addresses or URLs.

Becoming a registered user of the Christian Match website requires that you provide a password and a login name. As a user of the site, you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and login name and for any and all activities that occur under your login name.

You agree to notify Media Inc. immediately on becoming aware of any unauthorised use of your login name or password or any other breach of security.

Use of the Christian Match service

You will not use the Christian Match site or any material contained on the site in any way to engage in any commercial activity whether legal or illegal. All information contained on the site is for personal use only. It may not be sold, redistributed or used in any way for any commercial purpose. You may download material from the site for your own personal (non-commercial) use, provided you do not infringe any intellectual property rights or privacy rights or proprietary notices.

It is prohibited to modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute any material from the site—including code and software—in any way.

You will not use Christian Match to post or transmit material that is likely to be deemed offensive by other people using the service. This includes but is not limited to content that promotes or incites racism, bigotry, hatred or any kind of physical harm to any individual or group.

You will not use the service to harass another person or advocates the harassment of another person.

You will not use the service to transmit junk mail, chain letters, or unsolicited mass mailing or for “spamming”.

You will not knowingly provide or promote information you know to be false or misleading or that promotes or facilitates illegal activities (including breaches of copyright law) or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene or defamatory.

You will not use the Christian Match service to display pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind or links to other websites containing such material.

You will not post or transmit any material that provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone’s privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses.

Interacting with other members

You agree that in all your communications with other members you will behave in a manner that is generally inoffensive, respectful and courteous. You also agree to respect the right of any other person not to reply to any communication from you and to accept and respect any request from another member for you to cease sending communications to them.

You are solely responsible for all your interactions with other members. Christian Match reserves the right to monitor disputes between you and other members, but makes no undertaking to do so and has no obligation to do so.

Reliability of service

Media Inc. provides no warranty to users that the services generally available through the Christian Match website will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the service will be corrected. Nor do we guarantee or warrant that files available for downloading through the site or delivered through the site via email will be free of viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties.  Users of the site are responsible for putting in place sufficient measures for the protection of their own hardware and software and the preservation of their data. Media Inc. does agree to take reasonable measures to ensure that any disruption to service or denial of access to the site be remedied as quickly as possible.

From time to time, Christian Match may send a ‘cookie’ to your computer in order to assist with the proper functioning of the website.

Third party providers

Christian Match accepts no responsibility in relation to any services performed by third party external service providers on the site.

Refund policy

As a general policy, refunds will not be given for any reason. Refunds will be given solely at the discretion of Media Inc. All refund requests should be made in writing and addressed to Customer Service, Media Inc, PO Box 163, North Sydney, NSW 2059.

Disclaimer of warranties

You expressly agree that your use of the Christian Match service is at entirely at your own risk.

Christian Match shall not be responsible to you or anybody else for any content found on Christian Match.

Christian Match expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind in relation to the web site and associated services.

We make no warranty that the Christian Match site will be timely, secure, error free, or meet your requirements; nor does Christian Match make any warranty regarding results that maybe obtained from the use of the service or the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through Christian Match.

No advice or information, whether oral or written provided by Christian Match shall create a warranty not expressly made herein.

You understand and agree that any downloading or otherwise obtaining content through the use of Christian Match is done at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damages to your computer or loss of data that results in the download of such content.

To the fullest extent permissible under the applicable law, Christian Match shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from use of or inability to use the Christian Match web site.

Christian Match disclaims all liability, regardless of the form of action, for the acts or omissions of other members or users.
